To run a complex search you will need to use "AND" or "OR" to your search.
Using "AND" or "OR" links search criteria together to determine how to filter your search. By default, the "AND" is used when adding multiple criteria.
Using "AND" in a Search
Using "AND" in a search presents you with data that only satisfies ALL of the criteria outlined by your query.
Ex: Search all Contacts with First Name = Jennifer AND Role = Suspended
From this search, all members with the first name of Jennifer who have a role as Suspended will show up in your results
(Displays only Suspended Jennifers)
Using "OR" in a Search
Using the "OR" in a search presents data that satisfies ANY of the criteria outlined by your search.
Ex: Search all people with First Name = Jennifer OR First Name = Adam
From this search, all members with the first name of Jennifer as well the first name of Adam will show up in your results.
(Displays all Jennifers and Adams)
*Pro Tip: Make sure you capitalize "OR", because "or" isn't recognized and won't return the results you want. You'll know it's right when "OR" is grey! If it's blue, it's wrong!
